Begin with Academic Search Complete, a research database containing millions of articles that are appropriate for papers and projects.  You'll find it under "Popular Databases" on the Libraries' databases page. 

Search for one or two key words or phrases to begin.  Narrow by using the filters on the left of the results screen.
