What is EDS?
EDS allows users to search for and discover the majority of resources that can be found in our library's collection in a single search box. However, it is not a comprehensive listing and you may still need to consult specific databases when appropriate.
How is EDS different from our previous discovery service WMS?
EDS and WMS provide the same basic function. However, the decision to move to EDS was because it provides search results with a higher degree of relevance for the user than WMS. It also provides a more intuitive overlay.
