Answer

There are two types of reserve materials:
  • eReserves are items that are scanned and placed on the web.  They are available only to students enrolled in a class and can be accessed from anywhere. eReserves can be many different types of material including articles, notes, book chapters, music, videos, etc.
  • Print reserves are in hard copy form.  Students must go to the library where the professor has placed materials for a class and check them out, generally for a two hour loan.  Reserves can also be in many formats including books, articles, old tests, DVD/VHS/CD, thumb drives, etc.
The reserve policies and forms for faculty are available at: https://reserves.lib.wvu.edu/
